Tour of Britain 2013

» Posted in News

After the recent announcement of the route for this year’s Tour of Britain, we were very disappointed that it will not pass though or close to the Ashdown Forest in Sussex.

The Tour de France famously used the roads in and around the forest a few years back and we were hoping that the area’s undulating landscape and magnificent cycling roads would be ideal to test the world’s best bike riders and teams.

We hope that we may get our chance in the future and the country and world can once again see the fantastic cycling routes that the Ashdown Forest has to offer.

For those not quite at pro level yet, check out the cycle maps page to find some of the best cycle rides in and around the Ashdown Forest and Sussex area.
